We are seeking a Residential Solar Salesperson to join our team! You will scout for homeowners interested in going solar in the DC, MD, and VA region with a focus on homeowners looking to own their solar systems with cash or financing.

 

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Oversee all aspects of sales from generating leads to closing deals
  • Design systems and generate proposals for residential clients using company software
  • Understand the technical and financial dimensions of going solar to answer all customer questions
  • Inspire potential customers every single day to go solar and generate their own power
  • Achieve a high conversion rate of solar leads to closed deals
  • Provide a strategy for generating leads through door knocking, networking, attending/organizing events
  • Maintain high standards of integrity and ethics while adhering to the company philosophy

 

Qualifications and Skills              

  • 2-5 years experience in solar sales or other related sales fields
  • Familiarity with solar design software
  • Strong leadership qualities
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • Deadline and detail-oriented
  • Passion for clean energy and sustainability
  • Spanish fluency preferred

 

Job Type

  • Full-time
  • Commission-based ($.14/Watt sold) with potential for salary after 100kw sold
